Ian has over 25 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate. He has represented hundreds of companies across a diverse group of industries with the acquisition; disposition and consulting of more than 7,000,000 square feet of Office, Industrial, Retail and Investment properties.
Most recently, Ian served in the capacity of Principal and Managing Director for a National Commercial Real Estate Brokerage firm. Notable assignments include: 750,000 SF consulting assignment for a Regional Hospital, 345,000 SF sale of former AT&T facility, 256,000 SF repositioning of American Home Products facility, 250,000 SF lease of a former Johnson and Johnson Worldwide Facility, 190,000 SF repositioning for a former bank corporate headquarters office building, 140,000 SF sale of Regional Beverage Group facility, 50,000 SF office headquarters lease to an International web hosting company.
As a proven leader and volunteer, Ian has served as Chairman of the Gateway Chamber of Commerce, one of New Jersey’s largest business groups representing more than 1,500 businesses, and as President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer for the SIOR New Jersey Chapter. Under Ian's leadership the Chapter won its first ever National Award for Community Outreach related to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. In addition, Ian served as a Board member and soccer commissioner for the Colts Neck Sports Foundation overseeing a program with more than 600 children.
Ian has founded private real estate investment partnerships that have acquired properties with environmental issues, tax liens and through federal bankruptcy. As founder, Ian was involved in every aspect of the real estate operations relating to the assets purchased to include: site selection, pro forma and feasibility studies for acquisition, bank financing, partnership agreements, design review and supervision of outside consultants (architects, engineers, land use attorneys), value engineering of construction budgets, permitting, property management, accounting and quarterly financial reporting to partners.
Ian is a member of an elite group of professionals in New Jersey and nationally with both the CCIM and SIOR designations. He has also worked with a number of Not for Profit agencies including: The Cerebral Palsy League, Occupational Centers, and Developmental Disabilities Association. Ian has provided expert testimony for landlord and tenant disputes, real estate tax appeals and property valuation. He has held seminars for various organizations including being a panelist at an International Real Estate Convention, had articles published in various trade journals, and has been a quotable source numerous times.

Brian has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of the Real Estate Industry. He has been a Principal/Owner of a National Real Estate Brokerage Firm with 20 residential and commercial agents. He founded a private equity Real Estate Investment Group that has acquired investment properties and non-performing mortgages. He has served as principal and lead appraiser of a Real Estate Appraisal Company. He has acted as a project manager and an investment analyst for a Real Estate Investment Entity. As a hard money lender-creditor Brian has assisted in bringing liquidity constrained Real Estate projects to fruition. While contracted by the County of Santa Cruz (California) in an appraisal capacity, Brian was instrumental in evaluating and defending assessed values.
Brian has been involved in every aspect of the real estate industry. Tasks throughout his career include but are not limited to: legal and ethical compliance for his Brokerage and Appraisal Businesses; expert testimony relating to the tax appeal process; representing clients in the acquisition, disposition of investment properties, and providing consulting services for investment transactions. Brian has represented and assisted area developers in pro forma and feasibility studies, site selection, acquisition, permitting, and property management.
Notable assignments include: sales of hundreds of residential units, major Central New Jersey retail centers, retail leasing representation for credited national tenants, sale, leasing and management of Northern New Jersey apartment buildings, tax appeal appraisal assignments. |
